See Taupō through its art
Taupō’s lakefront and township double as an open-air gallery. On this relaxed guided walk, a local storyteller leads you from the shores of Taupō-nui-a-Tia through the heart of town to Riverside Park — sharing the stories, the artists and the history behind the region’s world-class public sculpture, as well as some facts about Lake Taupō, its unique geology, some cultural facts and some local history. The tour is a small group tour, with an easy walking pace.
